Cross Country Schooling in the large field is OPEN, available Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, by appointment only. Our obstacles range from intro to Preliminary level and include banks, ditches, a water jump, and portables. Please note that the arenas are currently unavailable for public schooling. It’s been an incredibly busy winter with horses in training and my own here at Cabin Branch Farm. We’ve been working hard on the new cross-country course and it’s almost ready to open for schooling (either with me, or with outside coaches.) ‘Stuck On Gold’ tackled his first modified, finishing confidently in the top 10! I’m beyond proud of this quirky OTTB who gave it his all throughout the whole weekend!
Jess Sappenfield’s young horse ‘Island Nominee’ tackled his first beginner novice, and while there were some green moments, he left the weekend happy and confident! We are looking forward to Middleburg HT in a few short weeks!
